The lady was happy I made her breakfast. She works hard so I want her to start the day off right. The hashbrowns got away from me. I was multitasking and missed the flip. Got a little dark but they were still delicious. Char adds flavor.

I smoked the Buckboard bacon yesterday. It's pretty damn good. Not like your typical belly bacon but for $1.79 a pound for meat vs close to $5.00 a pound for pork belly it's not a bad substitute. Gone are the good old days of $1.99 lb belly's. I'm keeping my eyes open and when if belly's go on sale I'll be buying in quantity.

This is what I'm working with for dinner. I just harvested everything except the garlic which has been curing for awhile but still came from my garden. I think I'm going to go meatless and make some fresh pasta. Deciding what kind is the only problem. Hand formed or use the pasta maker? Maybe make a vegetable/parmesan ravioli with fresh tomato sauce? Decisions decisions... I forgot to put some fresh basil and oregano in the photo but it's ready to be picked.
