How about just planting Seeds in final Tub?

I usually sprout mine.

I like germinating out of mediums (soil'peat'coco) so i can see what seeds have popped

Thing is I do real good until they go in the soil. Then they flip me off and die.

Probably dampening off.. if the soil is to wet they will rot at the base of the stem and fall over and die..
Or its something in the soil/medium killing them.. root aphids, fungus gnat larva.. or something else..

Yes, no problems at all going into final pot mate, if you can make it harder for the ants to access the pot there's less chance they'll nick ya seed. They may initially grow a little slower than starting in a smaller container but it all evens out in the end. Just be cautious not to water the entire pot while she's just a seedling.

Had a problem with my putting them upside down but still had problems.

Had a problem with Clones in Rock Wool went to putting them in soil no problem.

Sounds like you're germinating them in paper towels and then planting. Try just planting the seed directly into soil. That way you won't be handling them so much. The seed will find it's way up on it's own.

Thank you that is what I'm asking. Old time farmer here plant and go.

Only time we sprouted was checking out seed I had checking out germination.

I have good success with both planting direct into the ground or pot or using paper towel in ziplock for 12-24hr prior to putting them in the dirt. Some have already cracked the seed by that stage but never usually has the tap root started poking out. Prior I would leave them 3-4 days but I found I didn't like that as root and seedling far too long to handle carefully. Usually I'd just plant the small piece of paper towel with them if that was the case and never had any issues but yeah I now prefer just 12-24hrs in wet paper towel in sealed ziplock somewhere dark before putting them in the soil.

Do whatever works for you. There's so many "rules" and bro science in this sphere that I would always encourage experimentation. There's so many different variables that what doesnt work for someone else might work for you.

Eg. I'd have wasted a whole bunch of time taping over pinholes in my tent if I took everything espoused in these hallowed pages as gospel. But I don't accept it all, and I haven't patched it, and so my tent looks like the milky way with lights on. Yet, I don't get hermies.

I quite often only pot up once some do it many times putting them into there big final pots early isnt a bad thing ime long as the pots big enough to last you the veg and bloom time then your fine i imagine anyone doing no till in big pots rather than beds would be doing it this way anyway ? If any no till guys wanna chime in

Light is what kept me from Photos. Finally really I had no choice and have 5 girls doing fine.
