To cut or not to cut?

I hope not. I use grow big at times for my house plants. I've used it for MJ in the past. I use maybe 1 tablespoon of big grow per gallon of water. Did you mix 1 1/2 cups of big grow with a certain amount of water before adding it to the soil?
1 tablespoon GB in a gallon well shaken, of which I poured into a red solo cup

This I’m aware of and have been fighting against. It’s not pictured but Ive been keeping them on cool damp towel underneath. Im sure you’re right on taking it out of the pot, but I’m hesitant to transplant this far into flower. Thoughts? Sounds like I over watered as well. It’s a shitty day in NorCal.
I’ve pulled many out of pots before, the root ball holds it together. Just be careful working it free, let it sit overnight then put it back in the morning.

Just so I’m clear, I’m taking the root ball out of the pot (after dark) letting it cool and putting it back in the morning? I appreciate it

Yeah, if its peat based soil it will be heavy and damp. Roots will be off-white. Leaving it out overnight will aerate it. Shade the pot if the weather is hot and sunny. Black sucks up heat more than lighter colors.

Oh hell no, It was mixed 1 Tbl to 1 GALLON to 5.5 pH water. The moderate strength setting I suppose.
NOT 1 Tbl between a cup and a half lol.

I wasn't sure what it was you were using at first, I wasn't sure if it was a liquid or a top dressing and how much was actually used.
I think you asked earlier how fast it works. Big Grow is a fast-acting synthetic fertilizer that feeds the roots. Top dressing with dry organic fertilizers feeds the soil and takes longer.

Is there one you tend to lean towards when growing? And why? Thx man. We still have a healthy plant, but are in mourning over the failed transplant of this girl.

It looks like u snapped her in half. If u havent tossed her u can still save it if u wanted to. Grab some branches of her and place in some water. These cuttings will be her clones. Usually folks take from best genetics but in this case just getting a chance to enjoy her might be the way.

She also needed tiger bloom nutes for her stage. I think Epsom salt would've perked her up fast. Its cheap and reliable used rt. Dry organic nutes is the best imo but costly. I will find link to cheap stuff another guys says cost $3 and plants look gd.
But about the defoliating. When they barely got any leaves left like her do not touch em til they yellow as one guy stated. Plant needs those.
Best solution for mites for me was dish soap, cooking oil, 3% h202(hydrogen peroxide), and water. Spray it during veg or wipe each leaf during flower.

We all get there in different ways. If I start off with a healthy soil, I might go 3 - 5 weeks before feeding, it's always different depending on the plant. Other than top dressing I might need an Epsom salt foliar for a magnesium boost in veg.

Many different blended dry amendments will work. A less expensive choice espoma tomato tone.
My favorite choices are Bio Live 5-4-2, Happy frog 4-5-3, or Happy Frog 6-4-4 or Marine Cuisine 10-7-7 depending on what feels right at the time for the plant being grown.
Why you ask? While others might not agree I feel I can keep a plant healthier when feeding the soil and keeping the soil healthy and fertile to the end. Synthetic fertilizers like Big grow feed the roots not the soil. They are great if you need a quick fix. They are great if you are growing in coco, but if used from beginning to end in a soil without feeding the soil it will not be as fertile and healthy as a soil fed with top dressing.

You could dig a hole the size and depth of the pot and place it in there. That way the rootzone stays cool

You aint going to want to keep doing that..
Just put some straw or something white around the pot to refect the sun/heat away from the pot.. or plant it in the ground..

Everything was looking good until the idea of taking the root ball out for a heat break was introduced to me. That’s a very delicate process and shouldn’t be used lightly. Of course the wife is pissed. THE STEM and too many branches are broken, it’s a total loss. The flowers weren’t making progress in their 3rd week. Heat, bugs, low humidity, black pots, etc. If I learned anything from this thread, it’s not that not every piece of advice given is accurate, and can absolutely be detrimental. Think it out. Does it make sense? This was my 4th grow, you learn something every time. NEVER will I recommend taking the root ball out no matter how hot, out for a break for the evening. Transplants only. Thanks for all of the other help.
