I used to grow a few years ago with coco and liquid nutrients all fancy but I stopped and now I just have my one light with the living soil. It’s really easy with this dudes stuff, I literally just filter the water and that’s it. For flower I top dress. I’m forever afraid of hermies because of past experiences. I was gonna use optic foliar switch as an insurance policy this round. I’m still debating. I have no light leaks but I did accidentally mess the light schedule up a week ago, they were still in veg though so I think I might be safe. I dunno you ever used the switch to prevent male parts as a preventative measure?
Also one of my plants is my mother that I’m flowering. Have you ever ran into problems flowering a mother? She’s a monster that I topped to get her closer to the other plants height. She looks healthy. I’ve read that sometimes mothers get weird when you flower them.
