You already chopped one of the main colas regardless if it was the smallest one…

Why would you be checking the trichomes on sugar leaves. Trichomes on any part of the plant would be the last thing I used to determine if the plant was ready.

I’d put money on that this plant gets chopped early.
Yes u are right i have chopped one of the main nugs, not the entire cola. I dont need the plant to smoke it right now, i am a new grower so i just never had a strain fat up on me like that.

How much you want to bet i will wait the 8 weeks min? Im loving this plant.

Just from that nug i can tell this is some Frosty.

I initially thought the same thing. But its 100% no light reflection.
Another thing to consider, since you are focused on the trichs. I can go to my tent right now and find sugar leaves that appear to be covered in amber ones. However, snip a tiny piece of one of those leaves and view it separately on a white sheet of paper under a microscope and they're all clear. YMMV

You have a solid month before even thinking about harvesting. It looks great and is extra frosty for 5 weeks in, but will get even better as each week passes.
Keep fed and as unstressed as possible. If u get some fading in the leaves, don’t panic and start dumping bottles of nutes on it. But try to keep her green until the very end.
The buds are really gonna look impressive and very smokable in another 2 weeks…..but they will be far from ready. The last 3 weeks they will really fatten up and get heavier. Let them finish….
Once all the white pistils have turned brown and receded you can start looking at the trichs on the calyces….leaf trichs are irrelevant.
You’ll end up with a much better product and more of it.

I'm willing to bet it gets chopped early. What does 8 weeks have to do with anything.

I mean you've already chopped a piece off and you're checking trichomes on sugar leaves...

It makes sense what you said before.

Yes. That is what i will do. I dont k ow why ppl encourage other growers to harvest upon amber trichs but dont even specify where to look. I appreciate your time bro.
