so i melted the butter in the water first. then i ground the herb in the coffee grinder. i added this to the butter/water and put the crock pot on "low". once it started to bubble i switched it to "warm". i let it cool down on a warm for about 30 mins or so then switched it back to "low" until it bubbled again. then i switched it back to "low". the thermometer reads 140 on "warm" and about 170 on "low". i only let it just reach bubbling before turning it down. i don't want to burn it.

i'm repeating this until i get tired.

after 4 and 1/2 hours i have strained off all the butter. i used a potato ricer to press it all out of the plant matter. i then put the plant matter back in the crock pot with 4 cups of fresh water. i will bring this to bubble then lower. i may simmer it overnight then add it to the first batch in the morning.

4.5 hours thats some serious extraction. I cooked 14 grams into 1/8 cup of oil for 45 min and made brownies and got so god damn high. lol but 4.5 hours wow I want one of those kookies. have you found away to get rid of the resin taste in the food you cook with it?

I have a buddy that makes butter, why is his so much greener than yours? Is it just Chlor? He uses cheese cloth to strain, and there is no plant matter. I have never watched him make it, so I couldnt tell you the steps he uses.

that's not butter in the bowl, it's cookie dough. my butter is dark green almost black this time.


it's really starting to melt me now. this is gonna be good. i have a very high tolerance so when edibles work for me it's usually an pretty good ride.

you know marijuana can be slightly hallucinogenic when eaten in large doses?

man that is so awesome you only ate one cookie? Thats just fuckig awesome. I know I ate 2 of my brownies and I was so gone it wasen't even funny. eating it gives you such a better high. But I love to smoke it also.
