Using river water ok with Ocean Forest?

It's tropical and not contaminated.

Looking at the quality I'm sure it's considered a living solution to tap water.

I was told Living Soil can balance PH. I wouldn't bet that with Tap tho.

Nothing wrong with most tap water. How is the tap water? Does it taste good? If it's in the city you should be able to find a water report online. Living soil will balance decent tap water too.

And nature failed where. A pot is not nature if exploited.

Oklahoma water SUCKS! Tap or river, you can smell the chlorine, and see crap settle in just a glass. At least here in Stilly.

Your main problem when bringing in things from outside is introducing blights and pests to you grow space.

Just something to consider.

I’ve used river water from a dam tailwater which is cold and clear all the way to 90* lake water and lots of livewell water. No trouble bringing things in but I am super cautious about outside stuff in my mixes.

Good to know I have more faith in Tap. But think I'll just fill reverse osmosis 20 gallon tank. But how long can water in Sun UV radiation- Last!?

Great point. Plus I think we have flesh eating bacteria. Oahus gettos are notorious for polluted water.

People pollute.

Doesn’t take long for my rain water to go funky. You can add some bleach to it if it’s sitting for awhile.

That's sick. I had American Bulldogs and I think the strain of Dog came from Oklahoma.

That's a little off topic.

Think we just might experiment with the river (with a few starters).

The river water fluctuates in quality.
