I've been getting antsy dealing with bud rot in places the past 2 weeks....are these plants even close to harvest?
How far from harvest do you think these are?

sorry if this is a dumb question but what is gained by holding out at this point? would buds harvested now not be good? how much is left to begained by holding out is what im after

Well let’s see …. finished bud , mature bud and no harsh smoke for starters.
Patience is something you are just got to deal with.

im coming up on the end of my first grow, so id have panicked if i saw one of my buds rotting lol thats why i had to ask.

‘Deal with rot as you need to … when you actually harvest / recommend breaking down the colas to make sure there is no further rot lingering in any buds.

They have another month or so, my friend does outdoor and he said this has kept his plants clean he applies it twice a week a couple hours before the sun comes up. https://www.thegreengro.com/product/flower-shower/
To prevent bud rot you are going to need better airflow and put some type of clear rain barrier above the plants so they are not getting directly soaked by rain if your in a rainy area.. Looks like you have spider mites too... For that I'd look into something like green cleaner or plant therapy by lost coast.
Use a proper fogging machine like a Hudson do not use a wimpy little garden sprayer, you want that solution to soak and clean everything. Spray is not as effective as Fog.
