Any body used this product for curing

So I've just bought this 46l stainless steel airtight pot well I hope it is lol the brand is xysq can't find thier site but have a store on amazon they are like £111 even if you purchase a smaller one so has anyone used this product or something similar and if you find something for a better price let me know

As long as it's airtight it should be fine..

Gamma lids are pretty airtight when put on and sealed.. They are used for food storage.

Yes there is a silicone seal it's made for food storage shows pics on amazon

That system is for busy/lazy people like myself lol.. You can make just the buckets with the lids and then burp the lids.. The air pump is put in to take out the need for burping lol

You can probably seal the ring with a bead of silicone on the seal. That would help.

How would you test it to be airtight I thought about heating the outside of pot with boiling water and put lid on with hygrometer in their and after it cools down check the humidity and then try again without a proper seal but I'm thinking it should make a sound though

I ended up only using them for storage. Buds in foodsaver bags then in the 5gal with gamma lid.

Interesting.. you got me second guessing here lol.. I believe what you are saying "I guess I was duped" with marketing.. Either way Ill let ya know the results later this year

I have 10 lids, all leak like a sieve

Put some water in your buckets and turn it upside down over your bed, make a video doing it please

Vinegar and baking soda, then listen for either the hiss or the boom.
