A similar collision of culture with fact underlay the decision to launch Challenger despite weather conditions being outside previously specified limits set by known vulnerability of the part that failed.

Junior engineers expressed their fears; their seniors did not convey or acknowledge them. Go Fever is the concise term.
I’m aware, I’m the one that tries to limit it ;).

They hooked the soviet guys up to a vacuum pump and sucked them inside out, so they wouldn't squeal about the whole mission being a fraud. They got all they needed from them being paid off to be actors in a studio..

Same with nasa.. Gus and his other crew mates started running their mouths, and so they purposefully lit a spark in a pure oxygen capsule, and roasted them out.

Finally they found some participants that would cover up for the race to the moon, and establishing stations in orbit. They're all in a secret cult too.. the space club. When you talk about space club very bad accidents seem to have a way of happening.

I can belive whatever i want, just like everyone else about it. Much of it is classified, so only a few people know the real truth.

Well, something is about to happen. The Base has been bombing all evening. My land is topographically higher than most from the Base, which is 30 miles away, and it still rattles my windows. I can even hear....no.. FEEL it in the grow building,.. which is a room inside of a room inside of a building with 8-10 inch thick walls. Boom, boom boom!!!. $100,000, $200,000, $300,000 ..... I used to work in that town near the Base, and we just got used to it. I'd get a rep from a vendor from out of town come see me, and as soon as that first bomb blast hit the windows, they'd hit the ground. Always cracked me up.

Isn't Tinker under reconstruction? Those piling rams sound and feel like explosions in the distance.

No, it's Ft Sill.. I've lived here for decades. I can see thier night flares from here. I don't have any idea how they hang in the air that long.. its crazy. Sometimes if im on the front porch, I can see the MRLS rockets firing from the West range. I was timing the launches to BOOM! earlier, and it sounded like they were practicing from 4-8 mile targets. You can hear the thump, then the explosion a few seconds later.

The MLRS launches at night are amazing. I hated watching them fly over because I knew they were built by the lowest bidder. Always worried one would hit the house on post. We would have the house shake during gunnery range training from the tanks and artillery, I loved it.

I suppose the red flares give them just enough light for the laser targeting system to render the target. I have noticed that they only do that during a no moon evening. @FirstCavApache64 ... you got some insight on that?

I tried. What's this 24th ?

And I spent almost a year living by Lewiston,MI. A-10 and helicopter fly overs were something. Only heard small rumbles and a flash at best from the live range Hilly forest at best.

GE test track in Muskegon was too much. A1 Abrams driving at 70 MPH holding its barrel on your car on the freeway. Wow!

I really don't know man.. there was a viral video from a German Chancellor stating that Sept 24th 2022 would be a day we would all remember what happened on that day.. there may have been some confusion as to the month during the translation, and it may be nothing...... or something. I have no idea.

I'm glad to dilute that "urine" stream. Bombs don't make for bountiful crops. LOL.

Be assertive. Never aggressive. As your neighbor is your neighbor.

OMG.. I can't imagine the feeling of flying that close to the terrain and letting loose 300 rounds on a tank, and then hard banking it to the left, throw your flares, and straight up...that's gotta be a thrill.
I was just on my quad on powerline right of ways. Or in a boat on Houghton lake.

And they are putting this up now? Give Ukraine our original's from the 80's. Putin will be poopin.

Hey... you did your job. And Im damn proud of you... and thanks again for your service sir!
The first Gulf War was just such a mismatch especially with the armor situation. My buddy was a tank gunner in that and they had 11 kills. They got hit three times but the Abrams armor just bounced the rounds off like pebbles. Watching an Apache Longbow or a Warthog turn on a tank just sends chills down my spine because there's nothing those guys can do. They have to know they're screwed too, at least for a few seconds. Then the Hellfire missile or 30mm hits and it's done. You have to be crazy to be in a tank if you ask me.

Such a badass close support weapon that's served decades. I think they should re-design it.. more torque, faster, more efficient... this one is gonna be around for a while longer I think.
