Thank God I appreciate it, that picture set my mind at ease a bit lol thank you and any ideas on how to prevent infection from occurring instead of hoping it doesn't get infected? I was thinking about spraying the area with water but honestly I have know idea of the affects that would cause whether they be pros or cons

A Qtip and cinnamon. Gently apply a light dusting to the open wound. Avoiding surrounding areas. Is a strong desiccant.

Here is one with all stems snapped off by dog chasing grasshopper. It is still flowering. LOL.
