If it puts your mind at ease more,, where im at its suppose to get as low as 32°-38°f. Tonight.. i just covered them with bed sheets..this keeps condesation of them .. plastic can condesate on the inside and freeze the tops..
Im not sweeting it to much.. they have made it through 2 frosts here just fine already.. tonight though could lighty freeze possibly(more so inland )
Warm thoughts to your girls. I tossed a 30'x40' painters drop over my greenhouse.

Cover them and stay 5 - 15 degrees warmer.

I've had plants go well into November here in CT , but we were lucky that year and didn't have a freeze . They were in a marsh so I suspect that frost was less of a problem there .

If you get a frost or freeze warning I'd put it in the shed .
I know!!! Your talking about a year or like 2-3 ago it was warm in ny till Xmas it hit 63 lol I was thinking the same would happen but nope it’s turning cold and quick a week ago it was in the 80s so I’m assuming winter will be here fast for us in the ne

I've come to expect an Indian summer. Sunny and 70 for the 2nd and 3rd week of Oct. Hoping again this year.

Bed sheets?! Interesting….that’s freakin cold they must be purple af right….if I put a million bed sheets in my shed will it make it warmer like your idea ?! A electric heater is impossible bc I have no outlets …as you can see it’s not insulated well but there’s a bunch of storage stuff so maybe that’s like your bedsheets?

Im not sure that you need sheets bro.. i cant move my plants, theyre in the ground..
So i put polls around my plants and throw up the sheets.. the poles hole them off the plants..
Your shed will be fine as is..

More like 20 years ago in my case .

I watch the birds and wildlife this time of year though , and at the beginning of September I made the prediction that cold weather this year will be 2-3 weeks early . We shall see .

These spent the majority of their life at 40f nights and 65-70f days. Were germinated 56 days ago in the middle of winter with no heating. Last year I planted two during winter and it was down to high 30s over the first few weeks of their life and they went fine. The outdoors I usually run get some colder temps late flower, but I've never grown late in the season as I usually plant around Sept or october (spring here).

Minimums are 55-60f now in the tent with 70s during the day. Nothing to worry about at all. A lot of the info you here is madly exaggerated, but it might be a bit harsher outside with windchill and frost.

I planted late here in ny and in 2 weeks Temps are supposed to get in the 60s during the day!! Will the plant be ok? I think she still has another 3 weeks ….I’m no pro first grow…rn nighttime temps are dropping in the mid 50s and 70s during the day so I been putting her in my shed that has no heat but I figured maybe it’ll be alil warmer then outside right?? If you were homeless you would live in the shed right bc it’s warmer? I’m high need help ty
Homeless guys must think my shed is warm I found a homeless dude in the car port shed, I'm like you need a coffee mate

I gave my cashier $3 for the man behind myself's quart of beer. He ran to get another. And I felt well for further enabling him. I hope he got an hour or two of distraction.
I grew up in DC and used to give the homeless guys money if I had it. One day my buddy started giving me shit saying that he's just going to spend it on booze or drugs and I told him that's what I was going to spend it on so how can I begrudge him the same?

And my reply was always he is looking out for me and more honest than you about your addictions and intentions.

I’m on li you must be upstate …but do you think a shed filled with junk would be a few degrees warmer or no same as outside ?
If you're going to move them to a shed for just colder nights, yeah, that would keep them protected. It won't work in the long run (say it gets cold and stays cold) but for over-nighters that would be fine.

Part of the negatives of cold nights even if they survive without issue is that it slows their growth/productivity.
