I just ordered some more slabs and cubes, along with an AC Infinity CLOUDLINE T6 and a filter. I was going to buy two, but they are pricey. Plus I turn both of my crappy exhaust fans all the way down during the winter. I'll leave one up as a backup just in case, and buy another one down the road. I was thinking about buying a little heater, but I'm not sure if that will be necessary with the Cloudline's automations. I may try to find an old oil heater on FB marketplace if I do end up needing one. Now all I really need is new lights. I'll probably buy one soon and then grab another after Christmas sometime.

My yard absolutely reeks.

I installed the T6 fan today. It was around 70 degrees out, and it struggled to bring down the temp below the mid-80s, but it will definitely help keep the rooms warm during the nights. I was thinking about throwing a timer on my other fan until I buy a second T6. I did notice that it was very quiet.

Once I use up these 4x2" rockwool cubes I'm going to start using 6" cubes. Then I'll cut the slabs into smaller lengths so that I can sit the cubes into the tray flush with the slabs instead of sitting on top of them. I will have rows of three plants, with cubes on the ends and one in the middle, then 6" sections of slabs between the cubes that will hold the water rings.

This will shave off 4" of slab alone with the 4x2" cubes sitting on top, which will cause the rockwool to dry faster, making more frequent watering cycles possible. Plus it will dramatically improve the saturation of the root ball and cause a much more evenly distributed watering overall. Also it will drop the height of the plants a few inches, and make them more stable while being bent and twisted around during scrogging.

I guess I could just cut up the slabs into smaller cubes and bore holes into them myself. They are easy to cut if they moist, so I'll use a little spray bottle. The reason I want to chop them up is I don't want to put 3 seedlings directly into a 36x6x3" rockwool slab. It would waterboard those little rugrats. I think Ill make 4x3" cubes and slide in the bigger middle pieces once the seedlings have become established.

I ordered a Cloudline B6 last night. They were out of the T6s, and I figure I'll only need one fan for the humidity during the dark hours.

I also ordered an oil filled heater with a digital thermostat. It has a timer, so it can split a socket with my AC.

I got a box of gloves today, so tomorrow I'll start harvesting. This looks like it will be the best overall yield I've had in at least a year. It also looks like I'll be able to pull another crop before Christmas. Fresh x-mas buds are always delightful.

I'll take pictures tomorrow before they get whacked.

Woot have fun chopping! I'm chopping my outdoors this weekend. They aren't done, but it's getting cold and wet and I already had to pull 2-3 small mold spots so it's time. I'm just gonna oil them probably and have some Mac 1 dabs.
I don't know how you guys grow outdoors. It seems like a stream of anxiety from the day you transplant them up until harvest.

lmao I'm honestly not a big fan of outdoor growing yet. Atleast not in coastal Oregon. I only put these plants in because the clones came ot me and I happened to have some 65 gallon pots in my yard with soil in them already. They grew pretty decent all summer even though we get limited sun because of some 100+ ft tall trees that surround my yard. however, they didn't start flowering until the first week of September, so I knew they would never finish. Still fun and basically free.
