17 Sept 22 (heart attack day)

8 Oct 22 3 weeks later.

Growing out nicely and making lots of early flowers as our daylenght is around 12 hours, but growing longer very fast over the duration of this month. Then it will go on with ordinary vegging... I still need to clone the cherry pie one as she was a bit sickly when I tried last and it didnt take. Ithas nice herbacious branches now that I can use that will strike roots fast.

So I am finishing up my first outdoor grow, how do I deal with caterpillars? When is a good time to start the next grow, probably starting from a seed? I couldn't quite figure out how much nutrients or water to give it? What is a cheap way to support 6 feet tall branches? Any help is appreciated

Get the hair dryer out lol

We got lucky only dropped to 50 here
I'm in SE Mass.,harvested big plants Sept 30,clones still going, frost in interior Mass. none here 39 degrees last night, letting clones (150 2ft plants) go until next rain prob. thurs. been good summer but the drought never lasts into late Sept.,always have 2-3 weeks of intense work sheltering plants, can count on one hand trouble free harvests after 30+ yrs. of outdoor grows. On 1-10 scale,I give this season a solid 8.

Good job, I sympathize w/all you bros up north w/outdoor grows and the 3-4 week shorter season, must be tough, got to find the right strains is a must as even in my locale some strains really don't finish and I find myself wishing for 2 more weeks of clear 70 degree weather, after 30 yrs + in the game I learned long ago when to pull the plug and accept w/Mother Nature gives,if your stubborn you will ruin your plants. I will pick some Botrytis off but once it becomes a reoccurring prob. it's chop time otherwise you continually end up throwing more and more bud out

You've got that right, an extra couple weeks would help out tremendously. But you get the cards your dealt and picking the right strain definitely helps.

Got a jammed pack 4x4 tent with fresh buds drying so I can't complain the slightest.

Good luck with the weather on youre end ! Hope for a bountiful crop for all

Well I was gonna take down my Blue Cheese plant, but got unexpected rain last night. So I didn’t wanna take any chances and took down my do-si-dos plant and only found a small nugg of rot. Everything else was frosty and just rock solid buds, got 1001g wet, and in my freeze dryer as I type. Smell has a slight hint of grape, but mostly reminds of a container of them old hard Flintstone vitamins I use to take as a kid. Can’t wait to try some tomorrow before bedtime :weed:
