Found seed in ozone butterstuff 37%

Found a seed in a jar of ozone butterstuff the smoke was amazing. My question is do professional growers use only auto flower? Also this seed is sprouting I assume it's a 50 50 chance of being female? Finally if male should I grow anyway and harvest seeds? How long that take? Etc etc etc..
No, professional growers are more likely to grow from clones of established strains and phenos.

Exactly what happened to me, got a seed from some Bubblegum, 2 months later she is flowering in my 3x3, great genetics too. Couldnt hurt to germinate it and see what happens, its 50/50 really.

A seed from a plant that underwent late stage rodelization will be female. If the plant was pollinated by a make it will be 50/50.

Chances are that it's a fem seed. Rodelization is how they make fem seeds. Stress the plant until it pollinated itself as a last ditch effort to continue its blood line.

I had a few plants outdoors that had a seed or twenty. All fems so far.

You can even take some cuttings ( if photo ) from your “ freebie seed “ as you grow it out.
The gift that keeps on giving ………

Strains can Rodelize and “ self pollinate seed “ itself - a survival mechanism from a Fem if she is not pollinated / keeps lineage but it
is a natural way throws some hermaphroditism. It can happen from feed issues / environment issues also. Hermi pollen is markedly weaken than a solid male but you have the advantage of it being a Fem parent. No males were needed ……

I say run that shit as a regular photo seed - throw a decent 8 week Veg / Top / LST it ….. Simple bagged medium / Simple 4-4-4 or similar
dry fertilizer/ tap water. Solid 20/4 VEG cycle in 5 gallon ( if you can swing size ) . She will then become a candidate for some decent cuttings ( works great during a pruning / bottom clean up ).
