I currently have a 3x3x72 grow tent with 200w hid light. Can someone please tell me if I add a 600w LED light would that be too much light in the tent?

yes.. 600w of led is too much for a 3x3.
I use around half of that in mine.

Edit: You are talking about replacing the hid, not supplementing right?

I was curious if the light is actually a 600w light or just advertised as a 600w light and is actually only 100w or so.

I have 675w in a 3x5 and that's probably extreme...In a 3x3, you're probably good somewhere between 400-500w.

600w is be too much, around 320w-480w will be good!

If it fits and is dimmable it’s not too big. Run it.

Always consider quality in your final choice. I would rather run a 300w with good spectrum and uses far red, than run a cheaper 600w
