Pistils darkening early?

Noticed one budlet is starting to get orange/brown pistils.



It’s only been 21 days since 12/12 and the others look pure white




anybody seen this before?

This strain (Nirvana Gelato) is supposed to throw some colours later in the grow but found it weird it was just this one budlet. Day temps are pretty warm (77-80f) and nights are a bit colder (62-65f). LEDs are pretty close but within manufacturers recommendations. This bud is actually one of the much lower ones in the canopy

Some do this ive seen and its normal, more will grow. Especially considering it looks healthy.

Nope, never sprayed anything. They are in RDWC and I've never done foliar sprays at all

IMO i dont see this as anything to get worried about. Looks good, keep it up!

Was just a little worried as that area of the tent is above the hole I made for my pipes to come into the tent. Don't think light is getting in but I'll give it another tape up to be sure

Zero chance I'd imagine. It's in a tent in my basement and they are feminized seeds. I only ever run feminized seeds

Looks like it’s been pollinated to me

I'd start hunting for hermies if I were you just in case. Remember, Fem seeds can pollinate if they go hermie.

There are only two plants in there and this is the only budlet that looks different. Maybe that budlet is the start of that plant going hermie?

There would already be signs of male reproductive organs present if it were pollinated, just give everything a good look when lights on depending on your light cycle

Just wanted to cross it off the list. Maybe a light leak, but I would think it would be more than 1 bud.

I had a good look through the canopy, no balls in there, everything had big hairy pistils. Found another one or two on that plant that are similar but it’s just the tips. (I did a double take at this photo just now but it’s camera blur, not mould )
