Yellow leaf color but still growing as normal? Hmmm.. . .

Hi All,

Just started a new run using rockwool and Floraflex nutrients. I have one plant that has turned yellow on the first week of veg, but as you can see from the pictures below...the plant is still growing but continues to grow yellow. All the other plants have a luscious green that we all expect, cant figure out why it continues to grow yellow. I've fed all plants the same and this one appears to be an outlier.

Has this happened to anyone? Genetics maybe? Should I toss it now or just wait to see what it does?

Check for damping off
I think you got it right. There was some type of canker looking thing on the middle of the main stem a few days ago that I had to scratch off. Didnt think anything of it until now. I'll probably have to toss this one..unfortunately. Thank you for your help!

No I've not seen that before?
I wouldn't ditch it so long as it's upright, sometimes seeds start a bit funky then come away fine.

I decided to keep it. It'll be the end of week 1 of veg in 3 days. I've never seen a plant this yellow last for this long and it appears to be prayingo_O. I'd be extremely surprised if it stays healthy for much longer.IMG_4281.jpgIMG_4281.jpgIMG_4283.jpgIMG_4286.jpgIMG_4287.jpg

The others look very nice for their age, I'm curious what could cause that yellowing?

I've a plant that goes through stages of yellowing but otherwise stays healthy and returns back to green?_20221016_063229.JPG

Thanks! I'm interested to see what it does myself. Every run there's something new to learn I guess.

Here's a pic(s) of the first day of veg after I transplanted them into the 6x6 hugos almost 6 days ago:

I haven't water'd them since initial soaking/transplant, so about 6 days. I love rockwool. They still feel very heavy when picked up. Hoping the roots will start to develop nicely over the next week or so. Then I'll attached the auto irrigation setup when I feel like they are drying back.
