I use a tablespoon per litre for deficiencies or 1T per 2 litres if just spraying for funWhat is the calcium nitrate foliar rate, how much do i add and do you need to ph it?
I should be good i mixed up 2 teaspoon to a gallon and 1 gram of epsom salt i hope its fine to use mag with cal nitrateI use a tablespoon per litre for deficiencies or 1T per 2 litres if just spraying for fun
You would have to fully dissolve one of them first before adding the other, like a part A and part B. You could add more CN if you need to add another tablespoon at least.I should be good i mixed up 2 teaspoon to a gallon and 1 gram of epsom salt i hope its fine to use mag with cal nitrate
I mixed epsom salt in like 100 ml warm cup of water first then poured it in, dont think i caused lockout, i also let cal nitrate disolve first befire adding epsomYou would have to fully dissolve one of them first before adding the other, like a part A and part B. Next time i will do it a little stronger on the cal nitrate already ph itYou would have to fully dissolve one of them first before adding the other, like a part A and part B. You could add more CN if you need to add another tablespoon at least.
Magnesium nitrate works better in cal/mag with calcium nitrate. Epsom salts are good for foliar but I’d keep them seperate but you can mix with calcium nitrate if you dilute the cal nite first than mix in the diluted mag sulfate.I should be good i mixed up 2 teaspoon to a gallon and 1 gram of epsom salt i hope its fine to use mag with cal nitrate
I'm way further south. The days are now long, but it's been unusually cold and wet. Here in the northern rivers we're having a shocking spring. I sprouted a seed in mid Sept and through the seedling stage we had a reasonable amount of sun. Bear in mind that at this latitude 30 deg south, the length of day at the equinox only varies mid winter/summer between 10 and 14 hours. This month the weather has been next to atrocious with cloud from horizon to horizon on many days and that's been it for pretty well the past week. We should be getting over 13 hours light by now, but most days either daw, dusk or both sees thick cloud which obviously shortens the days. I think my plant thinks autumn is here. I can see what looks like a few pistils appearing at the upper nodes
The seedling is now about 8 inches with 5 nodes and otherwise powering. Has anyone had a similar experience and what can I expect to happen now? I don't have any tent/light facilities.
