Breeding tent light requirements

Looking to start breeding some seeds and curious how powerful a light would be needed for a 1X1 or 2X2 space? Can I use a cheap LED or CFL?

You'll want the same amount of light that you would for flowering an unseeded plant.

I tried flowering a plant in a 2x2, and i also tried a reversal project, spraying one plant with Colloidal silver & not the other. ... The plants quickly outgrew the space. I mean, it's doable, maybe easier with one plant. A 1x1??? Good luck growing anything other than seedlings or rooting clones in that.

I have a 2x2 that I use for pollen chucking. I light it with a 150w LED panel, usually dimmed down to around 75%.

I use a 100 watt panel from the best deals thread that cost like 20 bucks in my 2x2x4 to flower seeded clones. Works great

I used an 315 cmh sunstorm for 3 small fems .so far off those 3 small plants i have over 4000 ballbearing seeds in an 3x5 room ...they didnt take up much room at all.i used elite x elite and reversed a fem , sprayed plant,put into flower,waited 14 days then put the 3 fems in there .26 days later had male sacs opening everywhere ,chopped plants at 10 weeks.worked like a charm..pots were roughly abit over a gal in 70/30coco perlite..they were clones i took of plants before putting them into flower.fed them same as a normal flowering plant.

I bet if you look into them and other breeders, and go beyond just rollitup and onto other sites you might find more info of peoples breeding processes
