when to pollinate so buds and beans are ready at same time?

I have a couple females just starting to form buds at 3-4 weeks 12/12. I collected pollen earlier from an especially odoriffic outside male to use for some f2 beans for my own personal use. The idea is to pollinate a few lower buds for seeds, and I'd like the seeds to mature about the same time +/- as the buds, since I dry in my grow space. I know it's impossible to predict, but how long do seeds need from pollen chuck to seed shuck to mature?

6 weeks or so worked well for me.

Perfect. I presume going 8 weeks so bud is optimal wouldn't hurt seeded buds? Or would they fall out like acorns under an oak?

If you leave them long enough some may shake loose. Especially if you bump a pollinated branch. Keep the bottom of the tent clean and you can save those ones too.

It takes a minimum of 4 weeks for seeds to reach maturity.

You can place something under the area to catch any of they should fall. Seed could be done before the bud ripens.
I have a friend that has a 3x3 bed & 1 of 4 plants threw nanners in the center & seeded his crop up pretty good on those center branches.
When he chopped he had 4 seedlings coming out of the soil. His plants went for 10 weeks in flower. Unsure when the seeds started to form tho.

Seeds arn’t going to fall out unless you let you plant die and completely dry out in the pot and you then shake it or you have some super buds.

I run full cycle even with fully seeded plants. Harvest when the unpollenated buds are done.

How do you plan to pollenate?

Same way I always do. Apply pollen to pistils. You know.

I do it carefully, so I don't have to hash the whole room. I don't have a plan - I have a procedure. Thanks.
