always better to figuere it out on your own. Conflicting answers? Hell yeah. Same in IT-forums. "Your GPU is shit. you need a new powersupply, you have a bottleneck,. you need more aggressive ram-timings, why you have such a old CPU you noob"....

Everybodys allowed to throw his brainfarts into the game :)

These are some sites i used regularly.

are these spots appearing on older or new growth?

I don't think it's bad to flush your plants. If you would have dropped your plants in front of me and said fix this, the first thing I would have done was flush it with ro water. Then I would have checked the runoff for pH and ppm. If pH is in check and ppm is reasonable, the next step would be to start feeding full strength well balanced nutrients.

I would not be surprised if your soil pH as drifted. If this is the case then, I would correct the pH issues before feeding.

I flush you plants one in veg, once at the flip, once mid flower and once at the end. I like to keep the salt load in the rhizoshepere to a minimum. My plants love it, some of the most vigorous growth is right after the flush. I do always follow a flush with a full strength feeding.

You should never need to flush your grow medium if you're growing properly and feeding your plants correctly.

Runoff ppm and pH is not a reliable method for checking anything.

The reason some nutrient companies have you flushing every week is because they have you overfeeding your plants if you follow their feeding schedule. FF is a prime example of that. They sell a soil that says feeds for 4 weeks then they have a feed chart that has you feeding EC levels that many don't reach during the peak of flower. It's no surprise that so many people have issues with that particular brand of nutrients.

I have found one nutrient so far that I was able to feed at full strength right from the start and that was complete crop from element nutrients. It seems to work great at the recommended dose. I’ve tried a bunch of the big brands and always got burn if I didn’t start at 1/4-1/2 the recommended dose. I’ve also had good luck with MSU 19-4-23 at full strength from start to Finnish

hilarious joke. just cannot stop laughing
Apologies for any hurt feelings. I struggle with "compulsive sarcasm" (this negates personal responsibility) and my wife doesn't speak English well and because of this absolutely doesn't get sarcasm (blame) so when it builds up I'm forced to dump it elsewhere. So basically I'm pointing out how I'm a victim and am not responsible for my actions... See I'm definitely getting woke!

i can confirm most recommendations are way to high. I bought a mineral fertilzer from ebay "probud", that got my 1st grow toxic in 4-5 weeks time. I know that now. Their recommendations were way to high.

Bruce Bugbee said youre good with an allround-fertilizer with a ration of 20-10-20 when using only 0.6ml/l. Now you can calculate yourself the amount for other fertilzers. Would be about 2ml/l of a 6-3-6 Fertilzer.

I was looking at the white spots on your leaves. Have you put them under a microscope or loupe? Anything on your leaves that looks like dust should be inspected. White flies, aphids, and mites can look just like a spec of dust !

The black spots are not good and as someone said it could be a fungal problem. The brown spots could be a lot of things (its happened to me often). Have you inspected for pests? Any chance you have some ants crawling around? If you dont get this figured out soon, all hell will break loose, the timing isnt good !

It's funny, they tell you to follow the feedcharts, (fox farm as an example) and when you do, they call you an idiot. If you have salt buildup and lockout after the stretch, your plants are starving anyway. A flush can only help in this situation. (or if your PH is off)

If its fox farm soil your in, check the soil PH asap.... Mine has dropped to 5.0 and less midflower and a flush cured it.

last tip, cut the bloom nutrients recommended by fox farm to 1/4-1/2 what they recommend... DONT USE THE BLOOM BOOSTERS cha ching, beastie bloomz etc...
just got home from work, I checked infected leaves under a microscope and couldn't find one pest.
if it's a fungal problem, wouldn't it rub off on my fingers?
it's necrotic spots, it goes through the leaf, you can see it underneath each leaf. that has me figuring it's not mold or fungus?

it's ok, I'm old and sometimes take text in the worst way. I am not a pro-grower, only been doing it for a little over 2 years..
this problem confuses me because it's happened a couple other times with different strains, and this is the first time I tried to be preventative and flush during flower. I even amended the soil with lime to try to help it maintain proper ph. didn't flush through veg. and to clarify, I only follow the ff soil chart through flower, I do not use all of them, only the trio, and kelp....at half strength or less.

i should have been more specific on how I followed the ff soil chart. i only use it for a guide of what nutes to feed(not how much, I usually to 1/2 or less of each) during the flowering weeks, and took their advice on the end of week 3 sledgehammer flush

So, there are a lot of people here that will lose their f ing minds if you mention the word "flush". There are also a lot of people that recommend flushing as a normal part of growing, you'll get a lot of mixed signals.

I don't like to flush unless I've made mistakes or something goes wrong that requires a flush. IMO, flushing should be avoided BUT it can be a lifesaver to a plant in certain situations. An example would be soil with a low PH due to salt builldup. My last grow dropped the soil PH to around 5.0 and I was locked out bad. I flushed with 10 gallons of water (4 gallons of soil) and it brought the PH back up to 6.0 and my lockout went away. I like to think of a flush as a reset button to be used when you've exhausted all other possiblilites.

As far as flushing goes at harvest time, thats your call. Again, you'll see people losing their minds over this one. I continue to feed lightly to harvest without the end flush, but that's just me.

If you went 1/2 strength with the Fox Farm schedule you should be doing OK, many run the Fox Farm nutes with good results this way. (Easy with the bloom nutes though, more is not more !) Less is more. Bloom nutrients can wreck a grow fast and your plant needs less P and K than the nutrient companies lead you to believe. N and Calcium are the most used nutrients in cannabis by a long shot. Giving huge doses of anything else isnt good for the plant.
