Scissors, humidifier.. I got these covered.

What else do I need?

What do I hang the branches up with for instance.

Thanks!

make sure you have your jars or what ever you cure in on hand by the time you start drying.
You dont want to go store to store looking for them

I used plastic hangers looped over the top cross vars of my 2x2 tent. The bigger branches I cut and left a v on them that I could hang on the hanger. The smaller branches, I just used a binder clip to the hanger. I was only drying one plant with 2 zips of flower and an oz of trim and popcorn, but it worked well for me. The plant I'm bringing down Sunday should be about twice that and I think it will still all fit in there the same way.

I run an inkbird humidity controller... inside the tent is a humidifier (evap) that turns on when the rh drops below 56 and turns off when it hits 62. I find it keep it in the sweet spot that way. There's a small dc12v computer fan in the exhaust port uptop and the bottom flap is open just a teenie bit. I keep the RH of the room lower and draw in slightly drier air then keep the RH constant in the tent. As it gets drier, I'll turn down the fan to low (very, very low CFM like single digits) just to keep an air loop going through. I find I get the best (slow) dry this way.

Ah yes. The inkbird humidity controller is a super handy tool. BUT you need a humidifier with a physical switch or knob. If it is digital, when it turns it off, it may not turn it back on.

I was planning on running the humidifier in my room (not in the tent). Run in tent? An inkbird is gonna have to be an Xmas thing, won't swing it this run.

Worst case, I mess this up... my weed smells like Hay right but still contains the same medicine?

Yea good to mention.....mine has 3 settings low med high. Well and off.
But a physical knob so power can be interrupted and it'll turn back on to whatever setting it's on

Hm I duno that's just how i do it. Doesn't mean it's right lol. I run a dehumidifier in the main room, humidifier in the tent. Just find it keeps more consistent that way. Cold helps with getting a nice taste/smell too.

I run my humidifier next to the tent in my bedroom. I hang the inkbird where I can see it and the sensor hangs down into the tent. I keep a 6" hurricane fan blowing at the floor on low and a 4" inline fan and filter pulling air out of the tent. I stopped my dry after 5 days and probably could have stopped it at 4. No hay smell and everything is staying steady between 58 and 60% in a jar and a grove bag. The plant I chop on Sunday, I may leave the 6" fan off and just let the inline do the work.

Ok I took your advice, got the hurricane blowing on floor... 6" AC inline fan set on #4 speed out of 10 blowing outside. I'm at 66F / 62% humidity. Best I can do!

My larf-fest ;-)

I've a net permanently attached at the back of my tent, harvesting i fix the net at the front and that gives me tons of hanging space conveniently above me.

When you cut your branches be sure to leave a crook on the bottom to hang them with.

A box of nitrile gloves don't go wrong.
A picture is worth a thousand words.
The net, it stays hanging at the back of my tent until I need it, I've a couple of wire twist ties to hold it at this end when required. _20221214_211812.JPG
To leave a crook cut a piece of stem, where they're doubled cut the two and split it down the middle.
