first time grow- LIGHTING

sup guys. this is my first grow and right now shes 24 days old, about 5 inches tall with 4 nodes and the 5th one showing. I have her in a three gallon container with a soilmix of perlite, vermuculite, worm castings, potting soil, blood meal, and lime. i have one 20w flouro designed for growing plants and another 15w flouro. i just placed two 26w cfl's, one on each side of the plant a few days ago.

I think shes growing great with the lighting i have on her now, will i need to add more or will this give me a decent yield?

ya it looks healthy and not much stretching so you should have some nice bud, but it wont hurt during flower to add more light

should i add more flouros over the plant or more cfl's around the side??

So u got 4 lights on it as of now correct? For a toatal lf 70-ish watts. That amount of light will suffice for the time being, naturally, as the plant gets bigger ur gonna need to add more lights, but not for a while.

thanks rickjames, right now i have 4 lights for a total of 87w i guess ill add 1-2 more cfl's sometime next week and then a couple more when i start flowering

Remember, once u start flowering, u gotta get the soft white cfl's

To keep it short and simple, u use daylight cfl's(6500k) Soft white(5500k) for flowering. It'll say either 'daylight' 'soft white' or 'cool white' on the package. The numbers i.e. 6500k and 5500k are on the bulb itself.

thanks i almost just put up a 42w daylight flouro and shes still in veg so ill wait till i switch to flowering to hang that one

My advice would be to obtain an HID which would supply you with enough lumens (light) to flower. These HID's produce larger more robust plants and are a must for anyone serious about cultivation.
