Can I bend a Manifold/Mainline horizontal?

Hi all, I'm attempting my 4th grow and am trying to keep things low and symetrical. Can I bend a mainline/manifold horizontally?

Here is an example of my last grow which was topped and bent. (this was not mainlined it was topped and bent)




Here is my first attempt at a manifold, I'm leaving the lower leaves on for a little longer but they will come off soon.




So, to keep this post short, is there any reason I should not bend the main lower stalk of my Mainlined/Manifold plant? I'm trying to keep it as low as possible.

You can always continue doing what your doing and tie it back and down and do all kinds of bending to keep it short and low to the pot drill little holes in the top rim of the pot so you can use them as tie down areas or use a net. It’s very trainable though. If mainlining you won’t really need to bend the main stock as it’ll remain short and get thicker applying more energy to the outer branch’s it has left and bulk
