Yeah starving them at the end. Imagine doing that to anything you’re trying to get in top shape for a finish. Horses. Marathon runners. Weightlifters. But it’s sound science for cannabis even though no other crop of any type of plant is flushed before harvest.

No it’s frigging bro science. But knock yourself out
Well, i check my medium ec and my plants tell me they are done eating...im a bro....and i love science!

It’s a well known and accepted fact that genetics strongly effect the flavor and smell of these plants. You arguing the opposite just shows your lack of experience and understanding. I’ve grown thousands of plants and hundreds of seeds in my last 17 years growing, I’ve found about 10 plants I would call a keeper. Why? Because genetics effect flavor and smell and everyother aspect of the plants outcome, and I only would keep the best. People always come back looking for more and you can’t carry my weed around with out someone telling you “how good you smell”.
no i am arguing that your hay strain doesn't exist. you can have different smells and tastes but you will not have a plant weed or potato that will genetically smell like hay no matter what you do to it.unless you fuck up drying

If your medium runoff is high at the end you’ve been feeding too much. Period.
Its not too high, i never see signs of overfeeding. I let my plants dictate what they want, and what they want the last 2 weeks is to consume sugars, enzymes, and whatever npk is left in my promix medium. I feed based on what my plants are consuming. I check every feeding to find how many mls of food they get.....i never follow feed charts...i know, i know...reading my plants and checking runnoff too sed what they are consuming is bro science...but it works for me

If they’re feeding for 2 weeks on retained nutrients you’re doing it wrong. And don’t kid yourself that YOU check plants for signs and symptoms while nobody else does. Don’t strain your arm patting yourself on your back.

I've been trying hard to understand what you're trying to say there - and I'm failing.

What does the word "purple" mean in this sentence please? What does the word "buzzer" mean in this sentence please?
He might have been high while writing.

As an experiment I've got high and read it again. I now see that 'buzzer' might mean 'buds are'. Reads more drunk than high though - and I'm not drunk at all (and have no intention of changing that) - so it still makes no sense at all. I appreciate your help though.

lol I never said or suggested that the plant would have “hay terps”, you are so silly.

I said the genetics greatly impact the flavor and smell of the plant, you incorrectly stated that it did not. Pretty simple, so don’t bother trying to change your approach.

Genetics or Picked early. I’d say drying too fast would be the very least of problems because I live in the desert. And for years, I was only able to get at best 5–7 days to stem snap. Never got hay smell. Always as advertised. As expected.
