My niece has been at me to make dulce enchilados candy. Its not really a "dish" but these are delicious little sweet, salty, sour, spicey flavor bombs just the same.

Yes. And I have just enough left to do the rim on a couple Bloody Marys. Need something to sip on while I make pies this weekend....else I'll snack nonstop.

Lovely colour, sounds delicious!

If you like spice try carrot and coriander soup with a touch of Thai Green curry paste when sautéing the carrots. Works really well

Pre Thanksgiving. Those are scalloped potatoes under all that cheese. Cheese and I have a special relationship.

Had a leftover piece of Ahi steak that I made tuna salad with for a snack this afternoon on some saltines. Yummy.

Scorched tuna with cherry tomatoes on crispy ‘pizza’. The tuna was like candy and this was just part of it but damn these small restaurant portions.

Hot roti chicken pie. Basically added sriracha, chilli powder, some cayenne and plenty of pepper for the hot part. Skipped the sugar to balance it. Edible but not an improvement over basic version.
