I’m about to buy a system and I’m just unsure on what size bucket system to get so I’m wondering if there any real pros and cons to either size bucket besides to amount of water each one holds. Cheers
Yeah definitely seems like the smarter option thenthe 8 will give you far more root space, larger roots, larger plants. less topping up less re PHing.
Larger bucket more water less ppm change.small bucket huge roots refill dailyI’m about to buy a system and I’m just unsure on what size bucket system to get so I’m wondering if there any real pros and cons to either size bucket besides to amount of water each one holds. Cheers
Yeah true sounds painful! I’m definitely gunna go the 36L bucketsLarger bucket more water less ppm change.small bucket huge roots refill daily
I hada grow in 9L bucket and i had to put 2L daily roots filled the bottom half compleatly
Yeah I’d love to have a look I haven’t explored to much on here though so I wouldn’t even have a clue where to find your diaryShe was massive you can see in my diary but nutes would go crazy if you skipped a day
The area I have is about 6x6 feet but I’m only looking to cover 5x5 feet of that, that’s why I was thinking of the smaller system but I guess I still want to cover the same area with either system so I may as well go the bigger one and have less stress ‘hopefully’bigger is better depending on how much space you have - makes for a more stable solution in terms of nute stregnth, PH, and temperature.
Yeah 4 site system with a control resis this like a multi site system with a control res?
Yeah I use to grow in a tent which does obviously limit grow space but I’m just gunna grow I’m my spare bathroom which has 12 foot ceilings so height isn’t a concern for me this time aroundfor example, my tent foot print is 1x1 meter, and 1.8 meter high... a 2 meter high tent would allow me a bit more space, as the buckets, light and filter take up a lot of space, so my vertical grow height is pretty much limited to 1m.
