Root rot, right?

Is there anything that will eat old dead roots without causing additional problems? My mother plants could use something like that.

How do the other ones look compared to that?
They look stressed, but I’m pretty sure it’s heat- soil, not hydro, different strain, different light. One of those blurple ones. They were seeds that I was going to sacrifice when selecting genetics. But I had some FFOF lying around and decided to throw them under those old whack lights. They’re not unhealthy, but not poppin either. They were just an experiment.

I would rinse the slime off the best you can and use pool shock or bleach to fix .
You could use beneficials but I think it needs something quicker.

And I would pour though the net pot every few days till it clears.

He wouldn't really need to pour through the net pot like it is now, because it appears to me the netpot has been kept almost completely submerged the whole time. Hence.. the main problem.

The next problem, would be dealing with less than 3 gallons of solution in what appears to be a 5 gallon bucket... Then.. adding bleach.

Perhaps cleaning up.
Then using bleach or shock at the proper rate and then dunk it.
Personally I would only run high on the pot when I first plant, other than that i run just to the bottoms when I refill.

I never really run high, and always pull roots down if needed. I only use less than 4 inch netcups too, even with monsters, so I can keep more volume of water. Always have long roots ready to plop into any system.

As long as you have bubbles popping in each container, there really is no worry the netpot will dry out IMO. They constantly get misted.
