Try restarting your computer. If that doesn't work unplug it for 2 minutes and plug it back in.

In your settings you can switch off reporting what thread you're viewing when someone hovers over your name. You can also lock your profile but that's considered rude by most polite folk and presumes you have something to hide.
Just ignore trolls and they eventually wander off to annoy a new victim. They feed on your anger so don't feed the trolls.

for future reference this is a support questions tech and science is for like life stuff
No we arent facebook there's no way for us to completely block someone it would be a massive amount of coding we cannot do its not something we can do within xenforo that isnt an extremely difficult work around
ignore is what we got, honestly if you do ignore them , and they dont stop you can message me, if theyre just annoying to you ignore is fine.
