Search air cloning or just take several cuts and root them

I have been wanting to do that but I haven't found them again I think I might have broke off one, found this in the pot. After this I thought it's better not to fiddle around anymore. Saw the pistils forming from the top this morning. does this mean I have entered flowering stage?
