oh, gun shows are just shut down. all person to person sales HAVE to go through a dealer, who charges a small fee for running the paperwork, just as if he was selling it himself. if you're caught with an unregistered firearm, or one that isn't registered to you, then your ass is in deep shit, and if the one you got it from didn't at least report it stolen, then so are they.

i feel slightly hypocritical, having attended AND bought a weapon at a gun show...but the reality is that i would gladly give up that "freedom" to shut down this conduit that criminals can use to illegally obtain weapons with no paper trail what so ever. i saw one individual with a new york or new jersey accent buying several handguns, more than a dozen, and a few of them were the same model. while i suppose that he could just be a very devoted collector, that really seemed sort of suspicious to me, and the guy selling the guns was quick to get them off the table and into a larger box, like he knew he was doing something he should be ashamed of. how many such transactions happen each day, at each gun show? and there are literally hundreds of shows across the country weekly.

Egypt still a no-go area for me and my wife but we‘ll likely go to Morocco in the next couple of years. It’s just a 4hour flight for me, cheaper than some european destinations. The biggest Moroccan troublemakers are born in Europe, when you’re used to those, actual Moroccans in Morocco are civilized decent people. Cops and shop owners don’t take kindly to people harassing tourists. It is one of those destinations where you stick to doing the typical tourist stuff though, which includes buying hash from shady pushy yet rather harmless guys.I've always wanted to go to Morocco and Egypt annnnnnd I'll just use the OLED..maybe virtual headset...burn incense..hash oil..same thing and in my home.

We had an older gun registry for handguns and it would take weeks to have the transfer of ownership approved with the gun sitting with the seller during that time. Then they set up a system that also took in long guns, now unrestricted long guns not regulated. With the new system it took two phone calls with one the seller and the other the buyer, it took under half an hours before I could leave with the gun. So having a system in place does not have to be a big inconvenience. Keep in mind that the buyer and seller have already been approved for the class of firearm. The seller can not transfer a gun to someone not approved.

Yes, Australia had a buy back scheme. People can still surrender them. Guns are not illegal in fact we have more guns now than before the gun laws.

Of cause it does, Schuylaar said she is to scared to travel outside of America. I said something like most countries are safer than her big cities. Then we got onto Gov travel advisory warnings that Roger brought up and i mentioned a program on TV called Q&A where a black Australian thought the Aust travel warnings should be a little more detailed. For eg for Black Aussies visiting rural America.
I'm not sure what Kangaroo beer is but i've never tried it. Is it from the brewery on Kangaroo island (https://www.kibeer.com.au/) ? I didn't mind Emu Lager when i was in WA. Was on the Champagne (Yes proper Frenchie stuff) last night and then got on the XXXX Gold beers. But speaking of beer i'm looking at grabbing a Kegerator as my christmas pressie this year. Going to get back into home brewing.
