Dude didn't even read op lol I said I am gonna get one lolI don’t think you can run both boards off one 150w driver you will need a 240 or 320 but I would go with a 320 and a dimmer so you can drive the boards at lower wattage to prolong the life of the boards.
It’s allll goood lol I own a qb648 an 150 driver I just wanted to know if it’s be worth running two qb648s for a lower wattage per board but same total output. I plan to order a 300+ watt driver that’s dimmable for flower to use 150+ watt per board.Yeah I guess I don’t understand your post them sorry.
I can take a pic of one of my boards so you can see but they are 4 board 480w so not sure it will be same or not.Second connectors on first board to connectors on second board.
Yea I looked around found one for wiring 2+ qb288I can take a pic of one of my boards so you can see but they are 4 board 480w so not sure it will be same or not.
Pretty sure there is some drawing out there that show how to wire them but let me see what I can find.
All of my boards are + to - not sure if that helps at all.Yea I looked around found one for wiring 2+ qb288
OkPersonally I would just split the load coming off of the driver with a couple of wago connectors, then go to each individual board from there.
Good call. @pop22 , @Stephenj37826 . Can you guys answer this one? I don't want to give the wrong advice.be careful. rev polarity or something will fry the boards on the diablo series
I think you can do it, just be sure you wire things correctly! it wouldnt hurt to reach out to HLG's support-- I've had the BEST experience with them
Yes might as well get it out on the public here so others could reference this info. I wouldnt be surprised if there was info on this on the site somewhereGood call. @pop22 , @Stephenj37826 . Can you guys answer this one? I don't want to give the wrong advice.

Do you have the voltage specs for the 648's? I saw a chart awhile ago, but I can't find it anymore. I was thinking the HLG150-H-54 wouldn't work with 2 boards since the forward voltage wouldn't be high enough with 2. But I'm obviously confused again,I see no reason for this not to work, in fact the driver would better with 2 boards than running with just one on some drivers, like a HLG150H-54 is not recommended. Here's why, with just one boards the Vf (forward voltage ) for a single boards can rise to 56-57 volts, too much for the driver, where as with 2 boards, the Vf will be 54V. Best thing is to contact support for their expertise on what drivers you can use.
I've run a pair on a HLG185H-C1400b and they work fine. You get about 76-78 watts per board with this driver. You certainly get a lot of light and great efficincy at this power level! And think of it this way, each QB648 is equivalent to 2 1/4 QB 288!
