Ah, so it's outdoor grown in Vermont? Do you usually run photoperiod plants?

When I was a kid I lived in the Burlingting Vermont area (Essex Junction) we stumbled on a grow hidden deep in the woods, around 30 plants. We didnt know what they were, but pulling them up showed the little peet pots that the grower had used to plant them. We learned quickly what it was and would visit the site every couple of weeks.... Around October, we cut down around five of the huge Xmas tree plants and we bagged all the weed in paper grocery bags. We put pounds of weed up in my attic hidden by insulaltaion and forgot about it for a year of so.,.... This was my introduction to weed and we all became VERY popular after this....
For some reason, the grower never came back for his plants, either mold got them or they were afraid that their grow had been discovered, it was pretty obvious that we were there.. Anyway, just thought I'd share. I miss Vermont, what a perfect place to grow ! Low humidity in the summer, not too hot, nice bright son.,... I bet Vermont makes some of the best weed in the country!

If they don't have a greenhouse it typically gets harvested too early in this part of the country. Bud rot is a real issue as well.

I figured it was possibly due to complications they had or anticipated.
Edit: that's also why I was curious about them possibly running autos outdoors to be able to harvest ripe buds earlier in the year.

You can probably get 2 auto runs in, I haven't done it but I have a buddy who tried this year. He said it was nice not having to deal with October harvests.

Vermont is a crazy place. Winters suck. I lived there twice, in Burlington. My one step sister still lives there and my other in Vergens. I'm a NYer and there's so many differences, most of them good. It's now too expensive. Red rocks was fun, leddy beach, you can wade out into Champlain for 100 yards and still b e at chest level with the water. Steak and cheese subs at Burlington Bay Cafe... Shooting pool at the Other Place (OP) Bar... there's some decent Vietnamese food... the drunk college kids are annoying and are getting worse so you're not missing much.. there's also much more gang activity, noticeable when I visit. A fun place to remember and visit but maybe not so much to live...

I once dated a girl from Vermont, Rutland I believe. She was fun girl, sadly lots of baggage. I've wondered what ever happened to her. She made it seem like it was hard to make ends meet in the area she was from.

I just stayed in a historic hotel there for thanksgiving. Vermont is strange... huge farms everywhere and small towns/cities in between. A city like Rutland has little going on, is historic and picturesque and everything is closed on sunday type of place. If she lived outside of the city I could completely understand it being tough. Long roads with patches of nothing and longer driveways...
