Calmag deficiency or too much bio-pk?

I have a problem with big bud Auto Sensi Seeds. Around day 50, two of the three plants developed brown spots.
I thought it was the lack of Cal Mag (RO water and Led). They got three recovery doses of Cal Mag, but when I got home after 8 days, there were even more spots and one plant had yellow leaves.

I use BioTabs according to the instructions 2 tablets and all additives. I also added BioPK 1-2 ml/L once every 3 days.

I'm afraid it's not about the lack of CalMag, it's about overfertilization of PK.
What to do now, flush?
If I make flush, then give any fertilizers? Maybe a bit of biogrow biobizz and calmag?
Bactrex? Orgatex?

Earlier I had 4 plants in the same conditions on BioTabs and there were no problems. If there was too much PK, they just got slightly purple.


Plants are 63 days old, buds are formed.

That's not from a lack of anything but too much of something.

I don't know what all this Bactrex and Orgatrex stuff is but I'd just give plain water. No matter what though the plants will likely get worse.

What's with that BioBizz stuff? I see more posts of people using that stuff having problems than anything else except for those using FoxFarm nutrients.

Just get a bag of MaxiBloom for your next run and call it a day.

Are they autos or photoperiod? Dr earth would be a good alternative as well flower girl, 4-6-3, worm castings, liquid kelp. Might want to start out in FFOF, FFHP, perlite, some great white. Keep it simple go with organic stuff as apposed to all that bottle synthetic liquid shit will almost always cause problems. Had my share of it. Now those bottles look pretty on a shelf as a lesson learned.

Im also in that boat. I am absolutely useless at feeding liquids so I just throw on 2 tablespoons 3:1:3 as a top dress when potting, and 2 tsp 4:6:8 around week four of flower to tie me over. I'm in the vast majority as apparently slow release sucks, but it just seems to work for me. Last run I went 103 days on tap water. I'm at day 50 from pop now and everything's still looking okay. I just found feeding schedules too much effort for my simple mind. Plus I don't like to spend over $4 for a tub of nutes lol.


I'm the ultimate cheapo. The last two runs I have used the cheapest shit I could find alongside yard soil/coco/pumice. This time it was some $3.20 "b-green" 3:1:3 organic prills.

On another note, I don't think auto of photoperiod has anything to do with nutrient uptake.

Whats your PH? Check your runoff water and if theres a big PH difference, your PH of the water you put in, vs whats coming out, the PH at root level is probably too low. I often use PH test strips to test the PH. Just put it in the run off, and it will turn colors. Id also test the water going in.

Those plants need to lay off the sauce, they look completely jacked up on everthing.

I'm in the same boat as you and my plants look just like this right around week 5-6 flower. My past grow, I checked the runnoff and it was under 5.0 PH which is not good ! I'm still working it out, but have a feeling I overfed and had salt buildup/ low PH--

Check your soil PH anyway you can. Understand testing this is tricky, but if the runoff PH is really low, it should give you some clues..

I'm in week 1 flower now and watered last night with water PH'd to around 7.0. The water ran through the soil fast and still came out around 6.0 PH a, so I know the soil is more acidic than the water I'm feeding. I'm still trying to figure out why, but for now I know the soil PH can drop and you have to watch it.

I checked the soil pH, it is 6.5. After Flush.
I don't know what it was before.
Now I wonder what to do with plants when I leave the house for 8 days on Tuesday. On the day of departure I will water the plants again.
Only should I add any fertilizers except Bactrex (Trihoderma) and Calmag?

Plants will grow 25 days to the harvest, because they probably blocked slightly for a while. I poured a lot of water from Osmosis through the pots, I wonder if the Biotabs tablets were rushing out of the soil. If so, I can add some biobiz biogrow and biobloom.
From Flush, the next watering will be in 4 days.

Plants certainly had too much PK booster, there is no other option.

Agree mostly, I’d suggest a different one part to maxibloom though, not that it’s bad stuff, I’m using it now but it’s not a complete fertilizer, you gotta add boron. It’s missing a few other elements too I think, I just can’t name em right now. It’s not a lot though, you just mix 1000ppm borax solution and add 3.75ml/gallon

I used BioBizz for several years and never had the slightest problem. If someone has trouble with these fertilizers, it means that he is doing something wrong.

Could also be right application but that particular strain just does not like it. Plants seem to have their own individuality just as we do. Not always whats good for one is good for all. You could see what everybody else has used with success as in look at grow journals for that strain.

Only thing you can do at this point is reset. Depending on how many weeks are left you may want to flush with nonfeed water until your pots are saturated and start to drip well, then feed your mix until it comes out good right after. Two flushes and fed at the same time. And use an appropriate fertilizer with a balanced ratio. You don't have far to go.

It’s truly amazing how simple the process can be if you let it.
I too struck out with the many bottles of liquid this and fast acting that.
My best results have been using buffered coco with a good all purpose dry fert mixed in for veg….then once flowering starts top dress some of the flowering recipe of the same dry fert…..I use Gaia Green but it doesn’t matter.
I’ll have to top dress one more time usually and give a regular drink of ReCharge…..but that’s it.
My friends said my last run of Jack Herer was the smoothest and tastiest bud they’ve smoked since they can remember.
The industry really does muddy the waters in an effort to move product.
I doubt the native Americans used any Tiger Bloom to get the smoke for their peace pipe…
