Tree's supposed to go up the weekend after Thanksgiving. That way you aren't out spending all your money on anything but a tree (by my internal clock anyway).

As for dining out, I comfort myself with the thought that our stomach has a pH of 1 and that modern medicine has antibiotics, antifungals and antihelmintics etc...

I still haven't got my appetite back after coming down with what I think was RSV last Saturday. Whatever it was it wiped me out for a few days. I've probably lost at least 5 pounds. I have to eat something but nothing sounds good. Out of necessity I tossed a potato in the microwave. Butter, salt and pepper.
