Flowering in flushes?

Have a photo fem Northern Lights, nine weeks since the flip. All is well although the fan leaves are well and truly on their way out, yellowing and dying from the bottom up, which is to be expected, I guess (the buds and sugar leaves look fine).

I was close to harvesting at eight weeks with all the pistils having browned and receded into the calyxes when a new flush suddenly occurred and a bunch of white pistils developed over most of the buds. Should I wait for those pistils to brown and recede before harvesting? Based on what I can see from zoomed in phone photos, the trichs are mostly cloudy and none are amber.

Any advice much appreciated - ty in advance.

Don't mind the clawing - i live in the third windiest city in the world and it's an outside plant. It's spring here and windy AF.

What do you mean by "a new flush occurred"?

I would suggest harvesting one soon, and wait 2-3 weeks for the other. Cure properly
then decide which one you like better.

I see. Thats not what "flush" means, at least not a use of the term I've ever heard. Flushing involves running water through the grow medium to substantial runoff in order to remove built up salts.

Some plants are genetically pre disposed to throwing off white pistils and new calyx into late flower. I would give your girls more time. Make sure you're checking the calyx trichombs, not the sugar leaf trichombs.

Consider staggering the harvest, let the lower stuff mature a little longer than the top, or harvest each plant on different dates.

So it's around the first of summer there.Be aware they may start to reveg.

Those are from foxtailing. The plant looks close to finished to me. It just looks like it didn't grow to its full potential and will be pretty small after it dries.

I wondered if it was foxtailing. The conditions have not been good here. The wind is just insane as I am near the coast and everything is getting a battering this year. The buds feel very solid, though, so I remain optimistic i'll get a half decent harvest albeit from a small-ish plant. Thanks for the input!
