Recommendation for sorta new grower

What strain would you recommend that fits these criteria:

Something for indoor grow,
potent, dense colorful nugs, lots of resin(sticky-icky)
not too tall so maybe leaning indica. Trying 4ft.
bag appeal with colors is a plus.

Something thats Easy to grow but will still knock you out with a few hits?

Trying to plan my next grow out, I have 2 runs of autos under my belt and want to go photoperiod next round.

Let me add, the seeds need to be fairly available and easy to find in the US.

What you got? Thanks in advance.

Querkle by TGA Subcool. I know where to find seeds if you can't find them yourself. It tastes of grape koolaid and has purple/green hues and is super sugary and smells very sweet. Its amazing, my second favorite TGA subcool strain. Its 60/40 Indica. You know what it tastes like a cross between grape koolaid and fruity pebbles. Its amazing.

Edit)
I also should mention its a slow vegger because it has Purple Urkle in it. Its Purple Urkle and Space Queen. Purple Urkle adds that grape flavor and the sweetness comes from the Space Queen. It also isn't a huge yielder. The nugs are nice and solid and sugary but it is definitely a medium yeilder after a long veg. If you're willing to sacrifice veg time and yield for some of the best smoke in the world tho its well worth it. Would recommend to a smoker but not to someone who grows to sell. I personally smoke everything I grow tho (or eat it in edibles) so I could care less about yield bag apeal and veg time. But if you care about flavor, potency, kind of high, color, trichome coverage I highly recommend Querkle.

Just picked up feminized photo seeds of Apples 'n Oranges (Apple Fritter x Tangerine Cookies) from elev8 seeds (Washington state).

It's advertised as having "very high" THC (possibly >30%), "very high" yield, terps for days, lots of resin, and <10 week flowering time.

Most coloured weed especially purple lacks in potency mate vs green weed its a widely accepted general rule obviously there are exceptions like with everything but worth bearing that in mind if its to sell purple stardog phenos are decent that way decent potency yield and colour but if its for personal use id try something else myself

Widely accepted by who? That’s just bro science. There’s no studies or any science backing your statement, that’s just your personal experience and everyone has different cannabinoid receptors and brain chemistry.
Personally my favourite plants have been purple and they are very potent smoke. Potency has nothing to do with colour. Bad selection is to blame for low potency from breeders that don’t even smoke imo.

I think CSI: Humboldt would be a good fit for you. Especially his Old Family Purple (aka T1000) S1's and crosses. He might also have Urkle and Mendo Purps crosses available, I haven't checked his stuff in a while.

I agree about the Urkles being slow to veg, just something to consider.

Oh and they're all fem beans, so maybe that's "easier" for you too.

Also, Clearwater has a lot up your alley. Fem beans too. They can be a bit pricey though.

I'd look for his Apple Fritter or Mai Tai crosses, but he's got lots of other good stuff too.

Some of Strayfox's new gear is Insane. COLD sweats would be my first choice at the moment. He never really jacks up his prices either.
Clearwater's Black Velvet line would impress you for sure.
Freeborn's white cherry truffle crosses are another good bet.

You clearly dont know as much as you think ok consider green phenos and purple phenos of the same strain well its pretty much always the green one is better and it is because of science not "bro science" as you put it because green plants are more effective in photosynthesis than being purple so it stands to reason green is usually the most potent pheno its a generally accepted rule by people with more experience than yourself clearly man i mean just think about it most plants are green the fact you prefer purple means u like higher concentrations of anthocyanins in your weed thats all

At low light levels, green leaves are most efficient at photosynthesis. Normally grow rooms have too much light so it wouldn’t affect photosynthesis.
Anthocyanins can prevent damage to leaves from intense light energy by absorbing more ultraviolet light. weed plants normally go into purple fade in late flower when they are most prone to light stress and need less light.

Indoors normally dont have too much light thats why people refer to it as low light conditions its nothing vs what the sun puts out no light can match it ask anyone and im aware what anthocyanins do they are also produced at higher concentrations as a reaction to cold as it acts almost like anti freeze for the plant

The sun emits strongest in the green part of the spectrum. Plants get more of the green spectrum so they absorb most of it and reflect some of it. it’s just the most abundant light spectrum.
The sun is more powerful but only during the summer months at noon with high uv. Not during the morning or dusk or in shadows.
Plants in tropical areas on the Equator are more likely to have anthocyanins because of high Uv. Anthocyanins play a huge role in helping to deal stressors for the plant, cold / hot.

Yes and regardless the sun puts out a full spectrum that cannot yet be replicated so yeah it may go up and down because of seasons and its relative to your location but it still more than any lamp ever made mate your missing the point u will never have more light indoors vs outdoors therefore like it or not indoors is still low light conditions and i aint saying anthocyanins dont have there uses however making stronger weed is not one of them sure they have a mildly Anxiolytic effect on there own among some others but it isnt increasing potency but if u still disagree with me tell u what start your own thread put up a poll call it the strongest weed u ever smoked then have options for different colours see for yourself how many people vote green weed vs the rest i like a debate as much as the next guy but lifes short

Turning your lights down near end of flower helps terps and thc from degrading. Anthocyanins probably play a similar role. Indoors is not low light conditions. Anyway I’ll agree to disagree.
I’d recommend koffee It’s black / red leaf but most potent strain I’ve smoked.

Early on in my growing rookie years I got an advice from some old timers on what I can grow "successfully". From start to finish. OG Kush and any of the OG Kush varieties were what they suggested and I was glad I took their advice. Some plants are very forgiving to newbies and tolerate a lot of "newbie" errors..overwatering, lights too close to the plant, low humidity, whatever it was the plant tolerated a lot of it. They were hardy and produced great buds.. My first successful, trouble free grow was an OG Kush and to this day I still grow varieties of OG kush because they just grow easy.

Search the forum for Bob Bitchen Chernobyl . He's a forum member that also has seeds available. I finally picked some up myself, I just can't resist the idea of "lime slurpee terps" that sounds frickin amazing. The grows of it I've seen here also get some color to them.
