I always wanted a Thompson.now $2000 in 1977 is about $10 K today but still when you look at some of the auction figures on SMG's and military auto's today... oh and remember when they used to sell complete, quality suppressor "kits", no FFl 3 required? Legal until it was assembled, then, not so much. LOL, that was a hell of a ATF loophole.

Yep, on my bucket list as well. Used to be many police departments (even small ones) and prisons had those. The smart dept's hung on to them until the 2000's and auctioned them off. St Louis had 20 or 30 of them that they sold for maybe 20K each back in 2017. Nowadays that's a real bargainI always wanted a Thompson.
Chicago typewriters are cool but my bucket list would have to be a BAR hands down.Yep, on my bucket list as well. Used to be many police departments (even small ones) and prisons had those. I am crazy for them. I got to shoot one at a shooting club event a long time ago and I've wanted one ever since. That and an original Browning ma deuce would be my lotto money buys.Chicago typewriters are cool but my bucket list would have to be a BAR hands down.

Those 870's are great hunting guns, bullet proof (so to speak). I'm shooting a Russian Baikal semi-auto.I love wing shooting!
Years ago I beat the Alaska state skeet handicap champion by one point in a round of 25 birds - (Mybigonly claim to shotgunning fame).
He was shooting an Italian over/under that I couldn't pronounce, much less afford at that time & I had my trusty 870.
Those are great guns too, very light! My Baikal is great for ducks, but it's heavy, luckily I use a boat to get to where I hunt so I'm not lugging it far. I also hunt in salt water and the Baikal is camo coated so corrosion issues are minimal. Problem with the Baikal is that due to our current relationship with Russia, I cannot get parts in the US, have to go through Canada.I loved my Ithaca model 37. No problem carrying that around all day. Ray bar front sight was great.
Taste better than the shit beef they offer. Depends if its farm raised or wildIs elk steak good? I passed a restaurant on Main Street that said “ Hunters welcome!” Elk steak now available. Sounds so good!
Over the limit! it's 12 zucchini and 6 yellow squash.

All Elk that is commercially sold is not wild - that would be illegal to sell, however much of the legally sold elk is free range.
