Root zone temp worry

My grow tent is too cold, in particular worrying about the roots. How do I warm it up that doesn't cost a crap?

First get the plants off the floor. Raise them up so they are not getting the direct cold floor temps on the rootball.

These are about 50 bucks and work great on low to keep the temps up.

I do the hps with fans turned way down route. It's not great, those oil heaters look like the way to go. Do they have built in temp sensors to kick on at say 60 degrees or so?

I elevate my containers off the floor and turn down fans to just barely exchange air. It's definitely warmer in the tent that the surrounding air/room. They are kinda stunted and behind where they should be as it still gets colder than it should during lights out, and also runs the risk of there being a warm period and forgetting to turn the fans back up and cooking them.

Yes, they have temperature control, but not by degrees, just a graded dial rheostat. You will need to 'calibrate' with a thermometer to find your ideal setting.

I saw this earlier today in another thread. Looks great and super slim for tight spaces.

Ah man I got a 400w heater in there with a inkbird controller they are warm! 76-80f all day long! Humidity is only 40's due to heater, but I'm going to put a humidifier in tent soon. Right now just have one running in lung room.
