I really don't know my Sons Growing Set Up but today he said he doesn't have Inline Fans or Filter, he is just opening his Tent to control temperature.

What gets me he is leaving his Tent open just changes his Light hours, his Photos are doing well.

Me I'm just the opposite. Today Old Man you are just asnine about everything shut up and grow.

I don't have an inline fan either. The exhaust fan has been sized for the tent and easily sucks new air in through the lower intake vents while running at only 1/2 speed.

Do you know if he has any circulation fans inside the tent?

Me heck I have Tower Fan and smaller clip on Fan. Thinking of going from 4 inch Inline Fan to 6.

I'm putting in larger Inline Fan to help keep my Tent cooler.

Get this I have some Thrips I believe from leaving my Tent open. He is saying he don't have any but he is getting Clones and all from me.

I keep thinking he has to have them but don't know what to look for.

See that is what the Inline Fan is for to Exhaust air out of the Tent.

I have couple 4 inch fans I might let him have when I switch to 6 inch.

He is needing different Grow Lights. So I ordered him a couple but he is to be out of town so I'll be looking at them a few days.

My wife is mad at me because of him. Like I bought 4 bags of Happy Frog for me. Son took 2. Bought him a Grow Kit which reminds me he has a Inline Fan. But he is getting everything off of me.

Any way she is mad at me supplying him with everything. Don't blame her.

OK ... my bad.

Sounds like a case of differing terminology cause I have always referred to that device that sucks air out of the top of the tent as the exhaust fan. And some use an inline fan(s) in the lower vents to help push new air into the tent. It was those lower down fan(s) that I was referring to as the ones not really needed with a properly sized top fan.

I don't either. One of my dog walking and toking buddies still pays most of his son's cell phone bill - and he moved out 2+ years ago. A few of us in his sphere just don't get that reasoning.

Well I'm older and they are saying I have one foot in the grave and have no use for anything I buy.

He now has my Pickup and they decided I'm not to drive. I kid you not I bought a New Pitt Boss Grill my Son thanked me for it.

Shouldn't be POed he does do a bunch of Construction work for us and keeps us in Firewood.

Kind of funny I had to show him I could run a Chainsaw with one hand. I was cutting Firewood behind my house. I fell and had trouble getting up. So now I'm not allowed to.

I bought a New Chainsaw now our Son has it. Bought a Wood Splitter. Son has it.

Bought the best Framing Nailer. He lost it. So Dad bought him a cheaper one.

I feel this way buy the best and take care of it. Seems if a person don't buy it they are not obligated to take care of it.

Shouldn't talk too bad he is the only one around out of 6.

Awesome. Sounds like you guys have some really dialed in setups.

Geckos will solve your thrip problem.

Had a good laugh yesterday. My Son came by got my car. He came back later but left .

My wife called him and told to get back here I needed some advice.

He came I said I got this New Light is it better than what I have? No they are the same just different brand.

Well darn I was hoping for a better one. Can you use this?

Kid was grinning ear to ear I sure can. Good take it I don't need it.

At very least, OldGuy, your posts are certainly entertaining :lol:

If you have thrips and you're giving your son clones, but he claims NO thrips, you might want to find out what his quarantine process entails. My guess is he's treating everything you give him with something, before putting it into his tent.

And, as always, because I am also a guy who grows with (or, against :lol: ) his Dad, so I hope he totally blows your harvest away. And I mean this with the utmost respect, of course ;)

Well he does share. Wait every time he comes here we are smoking mine.

He says my Grow needs a month. He is looking with his eyes me I used my Phone, excited but got to wait little more but I don't think a month.
