Chilled puts those crees in a lightsphere and the real numbers are quite a bite lower. All those numbers are from the spreadsheets that where based on datasheets. Which werent completely correct. The test reports are on on Chilleds webpage. And Cobkits here on the forum ran a lot of tests in his thread showing cree as coming in behind lower speced cobs.It seems like the best commercial lights you can get nowdays perform the same as the DIY stuff we built @ 2015-2016
Cree CXB 3590 at 700ma was producing 64% efficiency or 2.95 umol/j
with cooler Kelvin temps (good for veg) and high bin you could get even higher efficiency
You clearly don’t know how to vape bro.I've never seen an atomizer that could handle that kind of power. I've had 120w coils and anything over 100w was too hot. If you're wiring up your own coils, god damn. That seems like a steam cannon that would cook every part of you respiratory system while charging up a hand grenade that you're holding up to your face.
Good to know you are still around RS. I believe it has been shown that both grow light and diode manufacturers have published some rather optimistic Data. It's interesting how the efficacy of grow lights has been creeping up.... when they are using the same LM301 diodes!Chilled puts those crees in a lightsphere and the real numbers are quite a bite lower. It's because the lm301 is getting better. It's interesting how the efficacy of grow lights has been creeping up.... when they are using the same LM301 diodes!
I like all and any testing. Migros approach is good, it gives you the end result of spread, watts and efficiency.Good to know you are still around RS. Do you have any opinion of the testing Migro does? Not precise accuracy, but just as a useful comparison?
