Buckets?

OK I think I already kind of asked this.

I have Buckets with drain holes. Thinking of using them on my next grow, take wood strips put them in oil change pans, set my Buckets in there.

I have Fiber Pots but the plastic Buckets are easier for me to move.

Should the Buckets be ok?

A container is a container, so yes.

I'd personally drill holes in them all over the bottom third so you get some air pruning.

Each Bucket has 6 holes in the bottom I'm going to drill 4 on the side at the bottom.

Been fooling around with Topping and Super Cropping. Very excited.

Oh while thinking of it. I just watched a video of mixing Sand in my Potting Soil to give it more air. I'm using straight Happy Frog. Thoughts on the sand?

Horticultural sand is used as a top soil cover against gnats but better ways to control that problem.

Just use care with big bags of perlite- Dust is no bueno.

Dang got a good woman. Why not get a long tote fix valve on it, put the rack over it and use my Fiber Pots.

Same warning for pumice. That’s some dusty stuff for sure and it’s abrasive. That’s what is rough in Lava hand soap.

Im not a big coffee drinker but my ol'lady was.. so there was plenty of cans laying around.. if i can use something and keep it out of a land fill i will..
