My Rooting Gel FROZE in the fridge

Ok, bought a $20 bottle of CLONEX. Worked perfectly with 100% success my first two attempts. The guy at the Grow store told me not to dip in the jar and to keep it stored in the fridge. So I went to take some more cuttings and the blue Gel had frozen solid. I thawed it at room temp, used it, but it seems like those cuttings should have rooted by now. Does anyone think the Clonex was ruined by becoming frozen

Moved the terrarium into the vegging space...roots are popping now...WOOT WOOT! Funny thing though, I got an answer on YAHOO ANSWERS within one minute, and nary a reply here in over a week...whats up with that?

lol thats funny shit. thats why I always Google my question first! I never heard of putting it in the fridge! I keep mine at room temp. Should I put it in the fridge??

clonex can take alot of shit and still work. i got some bottles of the old stuff still from 5 years ago.. looks brown and milky and still works..altough i hardly use the old cause i have several bottles of new

I accidentally froze some Olivia's and it worked fine.(for olivias) Ive had best luck with roottech.

I've never heard of anyone keeping it in the fridge. I'm gona check the bottle to see if it says "refrigerate after opening". Just FYI, any product that DOESN'T say "refrigerate after opening" on it, means you don't have to.

Talk to the guy at the grow store. Even ask him questions. But when they say shit like this, you should look into it yourself.

It DOES say keep out of reach of children. God forbid I let my 10 yr old clone some plants, lol.


It also says it's a violation of Federal Law to put it in the fridge. Because nowhere on the bottle does it say to refrigerate it

I think cloning gel is unnecessary. I've never used anything other than water.
