Most snow I've ever seen in the downtown area....30 cm in one dump, and went down to -8CMerry Christmas buddy. Hope you guys are enjoying the snow for once
It was damn near as bad as Edmonton...but we are back to rain now

I’ve got Hong Kong salmon cakes on the menu tonight.
Seared scallops drizzled with a blackberry fennel reduction over creamed corn.
Cold sesame noodles.
I’ll snap some photos if we don’t get too high before dinner.

9 and a half pound rib roast, seasoned and rubbed for tomorrow. Homemade beef stock for au jus, horseradish sour cream, roasted baby fingerling potatoes with herbs, and a broccoli/cauliflower au gratin will go with it. I made some ice cream for dessert, to go with the other stuff.

Can't really, need to cook the neck and innards to put some of the stock into the dressing prior to stuffing it. The rest becomes gravy. I signed up for this, it'll get done.Should have prepped it last night, just like I never do!
