Res size questions

I am building out a 12x10 grow space. I will be using 12 bucket rdwc system that I have built. My question is what size reservoir should I be using. I have a 35 gal res but not sure if that is enough. Hoping you guys can steer me in the right direction. Thank you for your time and any info is appreciated.

3 gallons a plant feeds them good until they r big if you can get em big. Then 3 gallons is enough for about 3 or 4 days.

So 3 x 12 is 36 gal and eventually you'll have to feed multiple times a week. That's not a bad thing tho, the plants can smash things fast while leaving enough of other things for days. Just always drain and refill, don't top off.

Or go with a 50 and it will get you through a week before you drain and refill. But early on you'll be flushing lots of remaining mix if you don't have a plan

Thanks for the reply and sharing your advice. I was thinking a 50 gal may be better. I will find a 50 gal and roll with that. Thanks

My dwc buckets for my small mothers (2-3 ft) use about a liter a day in my dry enviroment. It's usually 20 to 40% humidity. When I used to keep 6ft mothers they used almost a gallon a day with 60% humidity. I like using larger reservoirs if I can. I'd say 40 - 50 gallons would be really good for 12 plants if they're 3-4 ft tall with average humidity.

1. Acknowledges people politely

2. Listens.

Good luck buddy.

Add that 50 after your flip. Rock with the 35 for now

Time is money here. Get going
Thanks for the vote of confidence. As far as being polite that is just how I was raised. When you ask someone for help open your ears and not your mouth and be thankful that people took the time to answer your question. Just me being me.
