My balcony screen is 6 foot and the plants were at 4.5 foot, that’s why I supercropped. Absolutely cannot have them over 6 feet…the smell will be bad enough let alone visual prof.
And I think I’m seeing signs of early flowering (which is why I asked) but not sure being a newbie. The coming weeks are very exciting

Lovely, thanks for that…exciting times for a first time grower! I tried supercropping yesterday and they bounced back well this morning.

As Cdickie said, you should start seeing flowering in mid-late Jan. You should be done by mid-late March (YMMV). GG4 is apparently a 7-9 week strain, but touted flowering times are often kinda optimistic. Melbourne is currently at just under 15 hours of daylight, but since you're on a balcony & having to move things around to chase the sun, you won't be getting the benefit of those long hours of direct light.

'Couplea things:

1. Fabric pots are great, but they lose water quickly compared to hard-sided pots, so you might want to consider getting something on top of the medium to help as a mulch. Even a few handfuls of hydroton balls (4-5cm deep) will help with water retention & can be re-used next time.

2. Try not to mess too much with them on your first grow & just watch/learn how they go. If you have a problem, you won't neccessarily know what caused it. Better to KISS on your first go than try too much all at once.

Edit: If you want to experiment with LST, just do it very gently this time 'round. Supercropping can actually end-up doing more harm than good if you go too hard.

Good luck with it. What you're doing now is great. Well done.

Thanks, but it’s too late for KISS…I’ve topped, FIMed, LSTed and supercropped. Only thing I haven’t tried is rubbing my dick on em.

Glad they’re girls, being that I paid for feminised seeds. So you recon they are just showing their sex and not flowering?
Just relax & let them play-out. Next time you do this, you'll wonder why the hell you were so antsy about it in the first-place.

I used to be mortified at the prospect of trying anything new/different & was hesitant to screw something up. Now, I'll happily hack the crap out of my plants (at the appropriate time) & chuck stuff into compost, 'cos I know they'll bounce-back.

What you're asking & all the angst you're experiencing is perfectly normal for a first-time grower. What you're doing is perfectly fine.

Just keep them healthy & stop rubbing your genitals up against unknown girls - didn't your mother teach you anything?????
