Yellowing leaves in week 8-1/2

Hey all,

Been a very fun go so far with minimal issues but I just noticed some pretty yellow leaves. I noticed that some smaller fan leaves and stuff were dying on the bottom of the plants. I didn't trim/prune as much as I wanted an read that lower leaves will dry out and possibly die through the grow but it isn't anything to worry too much about.

I just added some epsom salt to my watering reservoir. My last feeding was at week 5 and it's been straight water from that point on. I'm initially thinking cal/mag deficiency but also want to see what you all think. The water company recently did repairs so my water source has changed and could also be the culprit.

I am including 2 pics of the yellowing and a couple of the bud development so far. Thanks for any help.

At 8.5 weeks I wouldn't worry too much. Typical fade, especially on large, lower fan leaves.

Buds look good, but the leaves are looking hungry. What are you growing in that you haven't fed for 3.5 weeks? You still have at least that long before they are ripe...depending on your medium you might want to feed again...

I'm using Coast of main soil and "Buds & Bloom dry fertilizer" for flower. The guide says weeks 1, 3 and 5 but it wasn't set in stone. I'm thinking I could have used a little more but also thought that the yellowing might be okay.

Looks to me like they are a bit low on nitrogen. You could let it ride if you want, if it were me I'd give them one more top dress just for a little added insurance.

That fish bone meal is mostly calcium and phosphorous, if you feed them again I'd recommend something more balanced like an all-purpose veggie fertilizer, if you have that on hand.

Thanks for the info. I actually have some nitrogen that I was feeding in the veg phase that I'll bust back out. probably a little feeding as well.
