I would go with a Growers Choice roi-e420. Will fit nicely in your space and has more watts.
That won't fit in a 2x3,I would go with a Growers Choice roi-e420. Will fit nicely in your space and has more watts.
Reading is half the battle,In his opening statement he says it is 3x3
So full disclosure. Senior members get comped for promoting HLG via the promo code?Don't forget the "RIU10" code,
My bad. I did say in the opening 3 x 3. Then later clarified to perhaps to 2 x 3. Its underneath a set of stairs. In his opening statement he says it is 3x3
What? I'm not affiliated with them. I wish,So full disclosure. Senior members get comped for promoting HLG via the promo code?
What makes you think that a HID lamp is a bigger fire risk than an LED fixture?Could I hire an electrician to wire the boards together? Seems like an obvious question. I'm really cautious. I don't want to experiment and do it myself and risk any fire.
Just curious. Im a total Noob. Much thanks. hahaWhat? I'm not affiliated with them. I wish,
Just trying to save you some cash,
The HIDs run hotter? What makes you think that a HID lamp is a bigger fire risk than an LED fixture?
The lamp itself yes, but the overall heat is the same, assuming like wattages. Unless you plan to drop the lamp on the floor and let it burn, I don't see an issue of concern for fire. I use both LED and CMH myself. The HIDs run hotter?
Im just super paranoid. Appreciate the feedback tho. First time doing indoor in a shared building etc. I feel like LED run cooler = lower chance of fire. The lamp itself yes, but the overall heat is the same, assuming like wattages. LED = more electrical components and connections = higher chance of failure = higher chance of fire?Im just super paranoid. Appreciate the feedback tho. First time doing indoor in a shared building etc. I feel like LED run cooler = lower chance of fire.
Also, just as a reality check the LED will put out the same overall heat as a HID lamp (assuming equal wattage), due to laws of physics. 1 watt = 3.41 btu's. The heat will only be disbursed differently. Depending on your grow environment, your plants may thrive better with one type of light over the other. Generally speaking, you will want a warmer environment with LED fixtures compared to HID lamps.I feel like LED run cooler
