Defoliating

Hey everyone, i have a concern so i was wondering if anyone can tell me if i have to many leaves my plants. They are drinking alot of water at this point in week 6 of flower. Im not sure if i should trimm them a bit or even if i should just leave them alone.

Leaves are food for the plant, and a good indicator of problems.
Too many pics on riu with barely any leaves and the few that are left showing major issues.
Once they are gone, all that is left is sugar leaf and bud to wilt

Youre too far along to start defoliating now. They drink more water in flowering regardless of the amount of leaves you pluck.
